2020 CHASE ACCOUNTS

April 22, 2020
Gainsville, Texas

Today I chased with Maegan Noel and Brittany Feagans. We started the day in Whitesboro as our target area. We readjusted west on US 380 to the Krum area and as storms fired went North on 35 to Gainsville. The storm quickly went tornado warned and we observed a rather strong core with a rotating lowered base. We observed a wall cloud, and what could have been a tornado through the trees. Storm structure was fairly impressive close up as the storm went outflow dominant.

May 22, 2020
Bellevue, Texas

Today I chased with Greg Wells, Maegan Noel and Brittany Feagans. We went West on 287 towards Wichita Falls where we observed small hail and structure. As we waited for storms to intensify near Henrieta a Tornado Warning was issued around 7:15PM for the area around Bellvue. We raced south and observed an intense rain core. As we approached the core we observed an elephant truck tornado appear through the core. The tornado lasted about 10 minutes before roping out. A successful, and close chase for mid-May.
